All lay still in the deep vacuum of space. A plethora of bright lights; stars, planets and other heavenly bodies dotted the inky black void. Cutting this picturesque scene into irregular fragments were the coloured laser propulsion streams of a Lotosian spacecraft; a Kuaesan Jet to be precise. It was angular and colourful in design, with large slabs of finely polished metal forming a sturdy and functional, yet suitably theatrical hull. Despite travelling at enormous speeds, the craft slowed down remarkably smoothly as it approached the proto-grav field of the GBN space station.
